Ugthorpe Lodge Touring & Static Caravan & Camping Park

Ugthorpe Lodge Caravan and Camping Park is set near Whitby in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park on the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast. The site is surrounded by trees, with lovely views towards Whitby Abbey.

Our excellent location means you are ideally placed for touring both coast and country with no shortage of things to do., such as walking, cycling, horse-riding, fishing, golf, history, heritage, coastline and moors. We are open from March to October.

There is a separate area for campers, together with electrical hook up points for tourers, two Shower Blocks and a small shop supplying home baking, calor gas and a public telephone.

There is also a selection of caravans and vacant pitches for sale.

There are altogether 70 privately owned static pitches on mains service, with breathtaking views over the North York Moors.

Located at the top of the park is a childrens play area where many activities are held together with a childrens play chalet. Ball games are on the left in the bottom field. Pets are welcome on the site, though dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and excercised off the park.

There is an area set aside for Caravan Clubs and large rallies.

The park has been owned by the Stainsby family for the past 40 years and provides a quiet, friendly and peaceful place in which to relax.
